The Pooja Ganesha has a urli around it in which you can grow a plant which will get fed by the compost inside. Just add flowers and sprinkle water daily. Once a week add some microbes mixed with some water to create “Holy” compost! Since there is no smell, you can keep it in the Prayer Room if you like.

Made out of mild steel rods and pipes, these rakes are powder coated, sturdy and come in two sizes. The smaller one is 3 pronged and the longer one is 2 pronged. You can conveniently hang it up on a hook near your composter.

There may be minor variations from the photograph depending on the fabricator making them.

• Oil the rake with cooking oil once a month to protect it from rusting.
• Paint once in a year to keep it looking new and extend its life.

This organic culture of microorganisms makes composting faster. The ability to act on lignin prevents lump formation, reduces stench because it creates air spaces. It is more effective as compared to the conventional composting accelerators that act only on the cellulose portion of the waste.
